About the Golf Program

  • Two weekly 60 minute group lessons from a PGA teaching professional. Kids will learn the full swing, short game, putting, and play other fun golf related games.
  • Summer access to the Keller driving range for each participant.
  • Access to Keller Golf Course to practice and play at to be determined times.
  • All equipment including a quality set of golf clubs will be provided.

About Our Coaches

Meet Coach Mike Greer!

Mike is a Class A Member of the PGA of America with over 15 years of coaching experience. Currently the Lead Instructor at Keller and Manitou Ridge Golf Courses, his impressive resume includes six years as Head Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he was also a collegiate Division III All-American. Throughout his career, Mike has developed a wide range of talent—from founding the Junior Academy at North Oaks Golf Club to coaching multiple All-Americans, high school standouts, and club champions.

At ForeKidz, Mike’s main goal is to create a welcoming, comforting environment to teach the fundamentals of the game and ensure every kid has fun learning this lifelong sport! Outside of golf, Mike loves spending time with his family at the cabin and cheering on his favorite Minnesota sports teams.

Meet Coach Eric Roach!

Eric founded the ForeKidz program four years ago and has worked passionately ever since to build it into the welcoming community it is today. With the support of experienced, certified coaches, he is thrilled to be back to coaching and sharing the game of golf with the next generation.

As a father of four, Eric loves spending time with his family and has seen firsthand the positive impact golf can have on kids’ lives. He is dedicated to giving other children that same opportunity. For Eric, teaching kids the game of golf and its valuable life skills is incredibly rewarding, and he plans to continue coaching with ForeKidz for years to come as a way to give back to his community!
